Markets rebound after Trump debacle

KUALA LUMPUR : Following yesterday's misfortunes, the business sectors recuperated a day after Donald Trump turned into the US President.

 Bursa Malaysia bounced back by 10.81 focuses or 0.65 for each penny to 1,658.43 as at 10.50 am. Dow Jones shut yesterday down 256.95 focuses or 1.4 for each penny to 18,589.69. The FTSEUK bounced back 68.71 focuses or 0.9 for every penny to close at 6,991.84 yesterday. Nikkei is up by 927.33 focuses or 5.4 for each penny to 17,178.87 as at 10.35 am. On the cash front, the US Dollar recouped grounds on the ringgit to RM4.2477, up 0.0125 focuses or 0.29 for every penny as at 11.05 am. Against the Yen, the greenback slid 0.42 focuses or 0.39 for each penny to 105.26 as at 11.07 am. 

In any case, there keeps on being a flight for the more steady resource, gold, which rose 9.62 dollar or 0.74 for each penny to 1,287.60 dollar for each Troy ounce as at 11.08am. MIDF Research head Zulkifli Hamzah said while there were knew yank responses, the market recovered a portion of the misfortunes, showing flexibility. "The effect of the decision of the US President will disentangle steadily," he included.
